Important Details for Robotics And Beyond Summer Design & STEM Programs
LOCATIONS: Please refer to our Summer Design and STEM Program page for in-person locations.
CLASS SIZE: Class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 10 students unless noted otherwise on the summer program description page.
FINANCIAL AID: We encourage you to ask about tuition assistance if you need it! We work hard to ensure that no student is prevented from attending due to cost. We obtain support from area companies, organizations and other donors, and split this funding among those who request help. Please visit our Tuition Assistance page for more details.
DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS: A non-refundable deposit (full day – $100 or half day – $50) can be made at registration. If you opt to pay with a deposit, final payment is due the end of June. Payment in full can also be made at time of registration.
DISCOUNTS: Only one (1) discount can be applied to a single student
- 10% sibling discounts – FULL DAY SUMMER PROGRAMS ONLY (applied automatically in the shopping cart)
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:Â Cancellations after full payment for a program has been paid will be considered individually. Partial or full refund of the payment (minus any deposit) may be offered but this will be based on our ability to fill the vacancy from our wait list.
REGISTRATION: We have an online registration system.
PREREQUISITE ABILITIES: Be sure that your student meets any prerequisite abilities mentioned for desired topics. If a topic states “or by permission,” parents may request admission for a camper not meeting the grade requirements by writing to camp@roboticsandbeyond.org.
STUDENT SOFTWARE ACCOUNTS: Several topics require that an online account be created for software and will be notated in the camp class description.
INSTRUCTORS: Our instructors are current high school and college students, and adult professionals, with very deep experience in their topics and as instructors. All Junior camp sessions are led by adult instructors.
LUNCH:Â Full day in-person campers and those staying between morning and afternoon programs need to bring a lunch and beverage. We do not have access to a refrigerator!
LAPTOP: OPTIONAL – In-person campers who want to load class software for use at home may bring their own laptop. Campers must bring passwords if needed to add or remove software on own laptop. We provide computers for all our classes.
