STEM EXPLORERS | Grades K-2 | July 8-12; 15-19 | $240/week

Camp location is at First Congregational Church, 36 Main St, New Milford

Offered the weeks of July 8-12 and 15-19 from 12:30-3:00pm (afternoons for 2024). Maximum 8 campers.

Our STEM Explorers will have an awesome time in this half day camp where they will learn the concepts of programming (coding), engineering, physics and other science-related topics.

There will be group STEM activities using various materials to create, build and explore. The coding concepts will consist of hands-on (“unplugged”) activities in addition to computer-based coding games and LEGO NXT robotics using pre-built bots. All computer applications are drag and drop environments. Reading is not a requirement but we do use laptops with a mouse (no touch screens).

Each day starts and ends with individual play and exploration using LEGOs, building planks, snap circuits, Spirograph, board games and more! Please pack a snack and drink for your camper.

We provide different activities each week for campers who want to join us for both sessions.
