We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit science and engineering education organization co-founded in 2003 by Michael Morrissey and Paul Chayka, both of whom share a passion for encouraging and supporting the next generation of technologists, scientists, and creative thinkers.
Paul Chayka – Executive Director
- Paul is a Materials Engineer with over 30 years experience developing new materials for aerospace, electronics, optical and semiconductor devices. He has also developed informative and entertaining presentations on STEM-related topics and presented them in area schools over the past 10 years and provides guidance to our high school and college students on choices of colleges, majors and career paths.

Michael Morrissey – Strategic planning and governance
- Michael has 20+ years of software engineering and industry implementation experience. Michael volunteered as the Director and Coach of the New Milford Public Library’s Jr. Robotics Lab. He is a 2-time participant in the FIRST LEGO League competition. Michael also spent 8 years in the Navy Reserve, most of that time with Office of Naval Intelligence as an intelligence analyst.
