THANK YOU!
With the support of 29 donors, Robotics And Beyond beat its goal of $5,000. During the event we received $4,805 in donations, received $100 by check and have $500 coming from employer match, for a total of $5,405. $400-500 in bonus matching from Connecticut Community Foundation and Event Sponsors. Our donors included 4 former students who were also peer-mentors and admin staff, 8 parents of current and past students, and 17 other Friends and board members of Robotics And Beyond. We also welcomed three first-time donors.
These funds will help between 10-20 young people to attend our flagship summer camps, and support essential equipment and services. Since 2013, Robotics And Beyond has received just over $59,000 in gifts through the Give Local event. This support alone has enabled hundreds of young people to take part in life-changing experiences in our camps and through our studio facilities. They have forged careers and life-long relationships with others, as well as gained priceless experience as instructors, leaders and role models.
Once again, the 2026, 36-hour Give Local Greater Waterbury & Litchfield Hills event beat all records set in last year’s event!
- 355 non-profit organizations (prior record 336)
- $2,946,179 in total donations (prior record $2,519,630)
- 7,569 donors (prior record 7,044)
Thank you to Connecticut Community Foundation and all sponsors for making this amazing event possible. Thank you New Milford Mayor Pete Bass for launching the event at the town hall and promoting it on social media.
Thank you!
The grateful staff of Robotics And Beyond
