Welcome to Robotics And Beyond’s collection of real-life experiences in careers and education paths, in fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and design. As they plan for their futures, young people have a great need for insight to the careers and education paths they are considering. We hope that these descriptions of personal experiences and thoughtful insights will help ease anxiety and raise confidence in these important choices and investments of time and money. In the coming months and years we will be adding many more profiles. These profiles are provided by graduates and friends of Robotics And Beyond and our many connections in every field of STEM and design who want to share their personal choices, decisions and experiences with you.

This project was made possible by funding from Connecticut Community Foundation. The initial set of profiles for college students and career professionals resulted from open-house events in July of 2017. At those events, college students and career professionals shared their experiences and personal journeys with visiting middle and high school students. Those events were funded by the Foundation, Parker Medical, Inc. of Bridgewater, CT, United Technologies Aerospace Systems of Danbury, CT and Kimberly-Clark of New Milford, CT.
